Purmerend – Dinsdagmiddag 10 januari kwam er een melding binnen van een brand in een van de garageboxen naast de Boeierflat.
Twee brandweervoertuigen een een politievoertuig kwamen ter plaatse. De brand is inmiddels opgeschaald naar een middelbrand.
Naast de garagebox waar de brand is ontstaan, hebben de overig boxen veel water en rookschade. Het treinverkeer had geen last van de rook.
